Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a well organised, sports-orientated and highly motivated individual to undertake this valuable post from September 2019 to cover the substantive post holder’s maternity leave. You will work 21 hours a week, over 3 days, during term time.

The successful candidate will be responsible co-ordinating and delivering the School Sports Competition Programme along with targeted physical activity participation projects mainly to primary school students and staff within the Lewisham area. You will provide competitive opportunities for all, promoting active lifestyles, developing workforce and supporting schools to use sport as a vehicle to develop life skills.

Salary Scale: PO1 (point 29 – 31) £34,986 - £36,486 pro-rata

Hours:  21 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time only + 5 Inset Days)

The post is hosted by Prendergast Ladywell School which is a "good" school (OFSTED February 2019). We offer fantastic facilities, a great staff team and motivated students who are keen to learn and succeed every day.
