$107,810 - $114,711 per annum plus super

Founded in 1899, St Mary’s College has a specialised focus on boys’ education, providing a variety of relevant and modern learning experiences and extra-curricular opportunities. All boys are encouraged to strive for excellence and realise their potential in all areas of their holistic education.

The Guidance Counsellor will work collaboratively with the college community to provide a counselling service that facilitates learning outcomes for students and enables quality teaching. 

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or Guidance Counselling coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. They will possess effective relationship building and influencing skills, advanced interpersonal and communication skills, proven and effective leadership skills, and will be committed to the values and ethos of the Catholic faith.

During weekends and paid school vacation periods, you will not be required to attend work, however, attendance may be required in the event of a critical incident.
