About the Role

We are currently looking for an energetic and committed School Janitor/Cleaner to join our team at Rosary Primary School. 

This janitor role includes undertaking cleaning and general school maintenance tasks. The janitor is to ensure that the learning and working environment for students and staff is maintained to an acceptable standard in the day-to-day running of the school.

  • Effective interpersonal skills to be able to relate and communicate with members of the school community;
    
    
  • The ability to  apply knowledge and skills to a range of tasks and roles;
    
    
  • Initiative and be able to self-manage their time and workload;
    
    
  • The ability to follow routines, methods and procedures of the school and use their discretion in the selection of equipment and how tasks are completed safely and effectively;
    
    
  • Routine supervision and advice provided but must have the ability to work independently and responsibly in the role.
