School Library Assistant Grade 3. Term time (£18,426 pro rata whole year)
Work Experience Co-ordinator grade 4. Term time.(£19,171 pro rata whole year).
Hours of work 10.30am until 2.00.pm. Monday to Thursday &10.30am - 1.30pm Friday
Required as soon as possible.
The governors of this small forward thinking school are seeking to appoint a part-time Assistant Librarian to assist in the day-to-day running of the busy school library and its ICT facilities.
You will work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to provide support on the use of the school library, including the IT facilities.
You will operate the issue and return of books, arrange and maintain stock, undertake library displays and promotional activites.
You will supervise the library during break times and lunch times as well as train and supervise student volunteer helpers.
The post holder will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team and under own initiative.
