School Marketing Officer

Are you a creative individual seeking a part time marketing role within a growing secondary school environment?

Your opportunity

We are looking for a creative marketing officer to manage our marketing needs as we move into our fifth year and seek to raise standards and build on relationships with the local community. Working within the framework of GLF School's central brand you will be responsible for school wide marketing initiatives  across our digital and print platforms such a social media and school brochures. You will be responsible to updating and maintaining website content in accordance with statutory requirements and Aureus branding. You will be involved in school life and work closely with staff to take photographs of school events and create content for weekly parent and staff bulletins in user-friendly formats. You will prepare press releases and liaise with our public relations company as and when required. We are looking for someone who has enthusiasm and a drive to make a difference and who will bring positivity and commitment to the role. You need not be a marketing professional, however knowledge and experience with website maintenance and social media is essential.

This appointment will be a permanent contract for 10 hours per week, term time only. The actual working hours need to be completed in school however the pattern can agreed with the successful candidate. The actual starting salary will be £4,301 with an FTE equivalent of £18,000.

Aureus School is a state of the art 11-16 co-educational comprehensive school that opened in Didcot in 2017. Salary- £4,301 Actual (£18,000 Full Time Equivalent)
