School Matron - Controlled Medicines

We are seeking an experienced individual to provide professional, high-quality Matron care for this important pastoral position within Bedales Prep School, Dunhurst.

Primary duties include:  Acting as the lead and be responsible for, the day-to-day medical practice and administration with the Matron Team working closely with the two Residential Matrons and Bedales Lead Nurse to ensure correct implementation of and compliance with the School Medication Policy and assist School Staff to ensure the safe, effective and efficient management and smooth day-to-day running of the boarding house, care of day children and management of other matron roles in line with the Boarding National Minimum Standards and the School’s needs and requirements.

Contract Term: Permanent, Part Time, Part Year

The hours of work will be 4 days of 8 hours per day and 1 day of 8.5 hours.  The Matron’s team are on duty the week prior to the start of Autumn Term, Spring Term and one week post Summer Term.
