Lunchtime School Meal Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) for Nursery

Salary information: Scale 2, £4,187 - £4,256 per annum

Work pattern: 7.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 11.15am - 12.45pm, Term time only (38 weeks)

Contract type: Temporary until July 2023, with a possibility of a renewed contract subject to pupil numbers for the next academic year

Start date: ASAP

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our welcoming and friendly Nursery Team. Although it is a temporary position until July 2023, there is a possibility that this contract may be extended subject to the number of 30 hour funded nursery pupils starting nursery from September 2023.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, friendly, patient and a fun-loving person who especially enjoys working with younger children. You must be hard-working, able to use own initiative and work well as part of a team.

Duties include supervising our full time nursery children during the lunch period. You will assist by escorting them to the dinner hall where you will supervise while they eat their lunch, you will also help to support the children with other activities as directed by the nursery manager.
