Job overview

We seek a reliable and conscientious team player to join our Facilities and Estates department. The role will include routine upkeep, maintenance and driving of the school minibus fleet as part of our home to school transport service as well as to support fixtures and trips. In addition the postholder will contribute to the day to day upkeep of the school site.

Candidates should have a positive mindset, take pride in a job well done and be a calm and capable driver. The successful applicant will have a caring manner and be confident and professional in all their interactions with colleagues, children and their parents. The postholder will represent the School in the wider community and a professional demeanour at all times is essential.

Standard hours are 10.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday during term time (34 weeks). Some flexibility may be required on occasion to meet the needs of the School. Additional hours may be available during school holidays and weekends. 

Remuneration: The role attracts a salary of £21,533 per annum. Staff may join a defined contribution workplace pension. Staff are provided lunch during term time. Uniform will be provided for this post holder.
