Repton School is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced School Nurse to provide Maternity cover from September 2021 through to April 2022.
This is a key appointment and the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing and outstanding care to all pupils. Responsibilities will include delivery of first aid, providing pupils with treatment and advice regarding accidents, sports injuries, mental health, sexual health and other medical matters. Previous experience in a nursing environment and an in-date NMC registration is essential. About Repton School
Repton School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for 13- to 18-year-olds. Situated in Repton, Derbyshire, the school hosts around 620 pupils. Former students have included Roald Dahl and Jeremy Clarkson.
The school was founded in 1557 and has grown considerably since; it now boasts a science priory, which was built in 2013, plus multi-purpose laboratories and a 3D lecture theatre. The music school has been redeveloped and the school theatre has been redesigned to include tier seating.
Repton was previously a 12th-century priory and the remaining part of the priory is known as Prior Overton’s Tower, which has been incorporated into a 19th-century building in honour of the school's historical beginnings. For pupils who stay on campus, there are 10 houses – six for boys and four for girls.
