Our client is a specialist performing arts school offering excellent vocational and academic education. Their central London location, well-served by public transport, allows them to draw students from  across the south-east and the wider UK. The School is non-denominational and co-educational. Their students range from 10 to 16 years of age. They are a small school of around 250 students and value their ‘family atmosphere'.

They are looking for an experienced Registered General nurse for a September/October start who can deal with a range of health issues and give support to both personal and emotional concerns. The School Nurse will also have an administrative role and be responsible for boarding students and host families. Though predominantly a day school they have at present 3 host families and 6 boarders. It is essential that the School Nurse has proficient I.T. skills. A competitive salary is on offer commensurate with this important role within this highly regarded performing arts school.

Sylvia Young Theatre School is a mixed, non-denominational independent secondary school in Westminster, serving students from the age of 10-16. The secondary school, situated in Marble Arch has approximately 210 students on record.

Sylvia Young Theatre School was founded in 1981. In 2010, it moved to a new building in Nutford Place, with facilties including rehearsal rooms, a recording studios and courtyard gardens.
