Job overview
Central England Multi Academy Trust is comprised of Oak Wood Primary School and Oak Wood Secondary School based on one purpose built site. We cater for a broad spectrum, with an increasing number of pupils with profound needs and medical conditions. Pupil safeguarding and welfare is our constant focus and priority.
We are seeking to appoint a part time School Nurse (26 hours a week, term time only) to support our pupils with a broad range of medical, physical and learning difficulties.
The role is to cover the absence of the substantive post holder. This contract will cease at the end of the stated period or when the substantive post holder returns or resigns, whichever is the earlier.
We welcome applications from fully qualified nurses from either Child, Adult or Learning Disability branch of nursing. Ideally with experience of working with young people with complex medical, physical and cognitive needs’ however the successful applicant will work alongside an established School Nurse. The post will work across both schools.
The deadline for applications is 15th October 2018. Interviews are likely to be held week commencing 22nd October. Informal visits to the school are very welcome – please call the school office for an appointment.
All application forms should be returned by the closing date via post or email to Julie Walters.
