Part-Time School Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered Nurse to join our school nursing team who are based in a dedicated Health Centre within the main school building
The team provide a vital medical and pastoral service to pupils across the Junior and the Senior School. The role is varied and includes health promotion, assessment of unwell pupils, minor injury treatment and providing support for those pupils with mental health concerns.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Lead Nurse in conjunction with the nursing team, the Head, Deputy Head (Pastoral), teachers, School counsellor and parents to promote the health and well-being of the pupils across the whole School.
It will be essential that the post holder is a Registered Nurse and experience of working in a school setting would be desirable, but not essential.
This is a Term Time Only position.
Hours of work will be 20 hours per week based on a rota.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to offer flexibility with regard to working hours.
Core Hours which are required to be covered by the team are
Monday to Friday 8am to 4.00pm
