We are seeking a motivated, intelligent, enthusiastic professional to join our team of school officers.

This Administration support school officer will work in close partnership with the College leadership team, other school officers and the grounds team and must demonstrate outstanding levels of professionalism and discretion.

The successful candidate will be able to:
• Demonstrate commitment to Excellence in the provision of professional services
• Show outstanding communication skills
• have great organisational skills
• have comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs. i.e. Word, Excel
• have a positive disposition and a genuine desire to work in partnership with college staff, students and families
• have a service focused mindset and be able to demonstrate they have worked to support teams in achieving organisational goals
• Previous facilities management experience will be well regarded
• Previous work within a school environment will also be advantageous

To be successful in this role you will:

  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term): 

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 30 hours - Monday to Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 4 - $32.23 per hour

Employment Conditions:  Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
