The successful applicant will:

  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a Library Aide to undertake a diverse range of tasks within our Primary School Library. The school library provides information services to students from all year levels, school staff, our Community Centre and the wider school community. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of the work of a library or resource centre with experience and knowledge in the use technology. A sound knowledge of Oliver Library System is highly desirable.


Christ the King is a primary co-educational school with a current enrolment of 250 students. Our school offers the latest in teaching and learning, technology and extra-curricular activities. Weeks Worked:  School term weeks only - holidays unpaid

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):   For the remainder of 2019 school year

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   12 hours per week - required to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer Level 2 Step 1

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
