We are seeking a School Officer (Prep) to undertake a dedicated role working closely with our Prep classroom teachers in our Early Years. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of the working with primary aged students , specifically Prep, with experience and knowledge in the use of technology.


St Ann’s School, Redbank Plains, is a Brisbane Catholic Education master planned primary school opening in January 2020. The school is located 30 minutes southwest of the Brisbane CBD between Ipswich and Springfield Lakes.

Commencing with enrolments from Prep to Year 3, it is anticipated the school will grow to 515 enrolments in the fifth year, with Prep to Year 6. In 2020 we will begin with two Prep classes, 1 x Year 1, 1 x Year 2 and a Year 3 classroom.

This advertisement provides a unique opportunity for an energetic and dynamic School Officer to be part of our Foundation year at St Ann's, Redbank Plains.

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks only - holidays unpaid

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):  

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   20 - 26 hours per week (negotiatable) - required to work from Monday to Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Level 2

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
