About the role
We are seeking a School Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our Year Two classroom.
Duties include:
- general classroom support (in the areas of literacy and numeracy)
- preparation of resources and clearing learning materials
- using technology to support learning activities
- administrative duties such as photocopying and filing
Ideally you will have:
- previous experience as a School Officer and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support
- proven communication and interpersonal skills
- an understanding of the work of a Year Two classroom
- a willingness to work as part of a team
You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Position tenure: Fixed Term
Weeks worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)
Tenure duration (where Fixed Term): 2023 school year
Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 5 days/week (30 hours/week) Monday to Friday
Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour
