School Officer - St Pius X SALISBURY

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a school officer to support our learners across our school. The successful applicant will be working with children with diverse learning needs, including students with ASD verification to support their success with learning. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills and an understanding of the work of a Primary Classroom.

St Pius X Primary School is situated in Salisbury, an inner southern suburb of Brisbane. We are a co-educational school with an approximate enrolment of 148 students. Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   11 hours per week - days and times to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
