We are seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated School Officer to join the College's Student Services Team.  

The successful applicant will have experience and knowledge in:

  • office administration procedures
  • data entry
  • document preparation
  • appointment scheduling and other office functions

The role requires signifcant interaction with students and supporting them to access the services of the centre.

This position requires an ability to form excellent professional relationships with students, parents and staff, and have high level interpersonal and communication skills.

In addition the successful applicant will have a high level of experience and strong skills in a range of computer packages.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • provide evidence that they are fully COVID vaccinated as directed by the Qld Chief Health Officer

Position Tenure:  Fixed Term

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):  2022 School year

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 5 days/week (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 4 - $32.23 per hour

Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

As from 23 January 2022 all BCE Schools will be an environment where all employees are fully COVID vaccinated as directed by the Queensland Chief Health Officer.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
