Job overview

The link between low income and low academic attainment is greater in the UK than almost any other developed nation. Children eligible for free school meals are less likely to get good GCSEs and go on to higher education. This makes it more likely they will struggle throughout their lives, widening social inequality. It’s a cycle that we’re determined to break.

The School Partnerships Manager is accountable for overseeing all school relationships in the Local Area, with individual and networks of schools, ensuring they are supported by utilising the full breadth of partnership with Teach First. The role leads on the development and implementation of a school engagement strategy to achieve high quality school relationships, with scope for growth, and to ensure school voice is integrated into our work in the local area. The role is responsible for ensuring our participants (trainee teachers) are placed in line with school requirements and receive outstanding support from the school.

You are an experienced relationship manager, ideally within an educational setting, who is adept at communicating with, and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders to aid business development. In addition, you have exceptional pipeline management capabilities and are highly effective when managing existing relationships and growing them strategically.

The day when no child’s future is limited by their background is coming, yet, there is still more to be done. Join us and help us ensure every child in the UK has a fair shot at their ambitions.
