The VinSchool Bi-Lingual (Cambridge) Program is an integrated bilingual school providing teaching and learning across the frameworks of the VinSchool Education System, the Vietnamese National Curriculum and the Cambridge international programmes of study.

Job Description:

Position summary: The Principal serves as the educational leader responsible for communicating with and empowering the School to carry out the school’s vision and mission. He/She is responsible for managing policies, facilities, regulations and procedures that ensure all students are learning, are supervised in a safe learning environment, and are provided a high quality education that allows students to enhance their skills, knowledge and virtues, while also actively promoting their self-awareness, pro-activeness and competence to succeed in an ever changing world.

• Delivery the vision and mission of Vinschool Education System

• Improving the educational outcomes of students in the Vinschool Education System

• Developing the quality of teaching and learning

• Nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders 

The Principal reports to the CEO of Vinschool Education System.

• Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. 

• Uphold the principal-ship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.

• Embed socially just practices in daily school life.

• Set high standards for student and staff performance.

• Active participants in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.

• Form partnerships with parents with parents, community groups, industry and business 

• Futures oriented and strategic.

• Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling.

• Manage resources to achieve goals. 

Qualifications:

Requirement and experience:

• A degree within education and previous experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Principal or Vice Principal. 

• Compliance with visa requirements for working in Vietnam

• Previous international accreditation experience is desirable but not required
