School Receptionist/Administrator

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic receptionist to join one of our partnership schools in Liverpool. 

The Role:

• Be the first point of contact for all visitors to the Academy
• Ensure all procedures for signing in, safeguarding and visitor control is properly adhered to
• Answering and redirecting when necessary all telephone calls quickly and efficiently
• Monitoring and recording the “on-call” log
• Updating SIMS as and when required
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and ensure parcel deliveries are dispatched to the relevant people
• Support the Admin team when required
• To  assist with co-ordinating and participate in arrangements for areas used for Academy functions, which may include Parents Evenings, Open Evenings, Assemblies, Drama, Sports and Music Productions, 
• To be responsible for the general tidiness of the Reception area
• To assist the Principal and Teachers in maintaining good and orderly conduct throughout the Academy

In order to be considered for the role you must have:

• GCSE/O-level in English and Maths
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload
• Ability to work on own initiative and without close supervision
