St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 7-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores, but it is the work beyond the curriculum that excites both students and teachers alike.

SCHOOL RECEPTIONIST  (TERM TIME AND LIMITED HOLIDAY WORK)

St Paul’s School is seeking to recruit a School Receptionist from September 2017. They will be joining a highly professional team at one of the country’s leading independent schools and will be playing a key role in communicating with all School stakeholders, providing first line, ‘front of house’ support. The role is predominately term time, with the requirement to work for one week at the end of, and prior to, each term.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and prioritisation skills, a flexible and patient disposition, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience within a school would be an advantage but not essential.

St Paul’s School was founded in 1509 and currently occupies a large site in Barnes, south-west London. A selective independent school, it provides an education for boys aged 7-18 and has boarding facilities for a small number of its students.

Prospective entrants are usually expected to pass online and/or written examinations across a range of subjects, as well as undergoing an interview with a senior member of staff. In order to improve accessibility for students from poorer backgrounds, a wide range of bursaries and scholarships are available for boys who reach the required academic standard.
