Queen’s College, Taunton is one of the leading independent boarding schools based in the South West of the country, educating more than 600 boys and girls (day and boarding), aged 3 months to 18 years, and is part of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Queen’s College team. The role will be to provide efficient and timely clerical support for the College, and deliver excellent customer service to its staff, parents, pupils and other key stakeholders. As well as being organised and methodical in their work, the successful candidate will ensure that internal and external communication is of the highest standard, and as the front of house of the College, they will ensure a friendly and welcoming experience to all visitors to the school.
The postholder will be responsible for all the pupil attendance (ISAMS Software), report admin, general office duties and any other ad hoc duties that may require their support.
Queen’s College is committed to paperless working and digital efficiency will be key to the role. This post is advertised as full time with greatly reduced working commitment during the school holidays. Experience in a similar role, or of working in a school environment, would be desirable.
