School Receptionist - Afternoons only

Part time - Monday to Friday 12.30pm to 5pm, Fixed Term, Term Time only,  Required as soon as possible 

Salary £18,883 to £21,450 per annum (FTE), Actual Salary £10,153 to £11,533 Dependent on skills and experience.

We are seeking a smart, friendly and well organised person to manage our busy reception area during the afternoon.  You will be confident in dealing with visitors and telephone enquiries, assist students and staff with enquiries and you will have good general IT skills.  Your duties will include:

Providing a professional receptionist role to internal and external visitors.

Maintaining the efficient operation of the reception area and telephone system, handling incoming calls and re-directing or taking messages as appropriate.

Liaising with taxi companies re term dates and school closures etc.

Providing administrative and secretarial support, as required.

Assisting the Data Manager in up-dating SIMS.

Overseeing lost property.

Administering lockers keys for students.  

Employing initiative and discretion at all times when dealing with all school personnel, visitors and outside agencies
