The Role

The School Registrar and Marketing Officer [Registrar] will be sales focussed and is primarily responsible for pupil recruitment and the admissions process. He or she will build strong and lasting relationships with prospective parents and pupils, delivering on objectives to ensure the Schools operates at full capacity. He or she shall ensure that all enquirers and applicants receive a positive impression of the Schools. As a prominent public representative of the Schools, he or she will excel in customer service and be a firm believer in the ethos of the Schools.

This role will play a key part in the planning, preparation and execution of key admissions-related events. He or she will provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Teams and School Governors regarding applications and will develop and foster effective working relationships with academic, support colleagues and Governors.

This is a crucial post which is key to the continued growth and development of the Schools. It is essential that the post holder has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is able to maintain a high level of efficiency and remain calm, confident and professional with a variety of audiences. 

The Registrar is expected to have a whole school approach and ensure that they understand the importance of school events in relation to termly activities. He or she will also be expected to attend whole school events to gain a thorough understanding of the academic and pastoral experiences that pupils can expect. A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum would be an advantage. 

The post holder will have a high level of accountability with the key measures of success being measured against the number of new enquiries generated, the number of parent visits and registrations and the flow of pupils between the individual year groups.

About The Minors Nursery School

We are a small family orientated nursery school who focus on the individual child. We are a close knit team of energetic and enthusiastic teachers with a breadth of experience who support one another.

We are looking for candidates with school experience eg Reception as we are a nursery school preparing children for the London pre-prep system.

Lunch is provided and its a very happy place to work!
