The Post

We are looking for a career minded, highly motivated and enthusiastic school registrar to work in our busy school office, at 11 Pembridge Square, alongside the Headmaster’s P.A. and the bursar. This will be a permanent, full time position and the contracted hours will be from 8.30am until 5pm.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the necessary people skills, experience and competence to work in this busy environment with adults and children alike. The registrar will be responsible for overseeing the complete admissions process from initial enquiry to a boy joining our successful school located in Notting Hill. This is a central and key position within the school with significant impact on the on-going success of the school community as a whole. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential as well as a polite and friendly telephone manner. It is essential that the candidate has a good knowledge of SIMS and office software packages and experience of working in the education sector is desirable. 

The School

Wetherby School is a thriving and highly successful non-selective, independent school in Notting Hill with 360 boys, aged 2 ½ to 8. The school is heavily oversubscribed and extremely successful in securing pupils’ entry into the preparatory school of their choice. It is part of the Alpha Plus Group of schools, which is one of the country's leading educational groups.

Remuneration

The salary for the position will be between £34,000 and £39,000 depending on qualifications and experience.  The successful candidate shall be entitled to take 25 days annual leave per year plus all Public Holidays.

About Wetherby School

Wetherby School is based in Kensington and Chelsea, London. The independent pre-preparatory school admits boys aged 4-8. There are currently around 360 boys enrolled in the school, which occupies a listed townhouse.

In 2002, the school became part of the Alpha Plus Group. It was founded in 1951 and moved to its current location in 1971.
