St Christopher’s wishes to appoint an experienced administrator to the post of School Secretary to start at the end of August to work 43 weeks per year.
The successful candidate will enjoy working within a team, be energetic and enthusiastic and remain calm under pressure. We are looking for an excellent communicator with a flexible and responsive attitude who likes working with children.
The post-holder will report to the Head and Bursar and will be comfortable collaborating with the whole School community, including staff, parents and school governors. Exceptional organisation and discretion will be key to this role.

St Christopher’s is a girls’ day school (IAPS 4-11) with approximately 240 pupils with selective entry into Reception and Year 1. The school is oversubscribed and girls continue their education at 11+ to some of the top schools in London and around the country. We provide pupils with a challenging and engaging learning environment with a focus on the individual child. Developing curiosity, resilience and respect is at the core of our community.

About St Christopher's School
St Christopher’s School is a non-denominational, independent day school for girls aged 4-11. It is located in Hampstead, North London, and has about 245 pupils.
The primary school was founded in 1883, with the earliest written records appearing in 1889 of a small class begun by an enthusiastic educationalist in her father's drawing room. This small establishment grew into a preparatory school known as the Hampstead Kindergarten and School.
Now known as St Christopher’s, the school changed from private ownership to a charitable educational trust in 1972. The trustees form the school’s board of governors.
