We are currently looking to recruit a School Secretary to join our thriving Prep school as a key member of our administrative team to cover a period of Maternity. The role involves most areas of administration that would normally be expected of a busy school office/reception area including being the first point of contact for parents and visitors, updating the attendance register on a daily basis and keeping an organised and tidy office space.
The ideal candidate will be a positive, enthusiastic, kind and patient person who possesses the ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.

About Gresham's School
Gresham’s is a co-educational boarding and day school for children aged 2-18. It is situated in the Georgian town of Holt in beautiful countryside, just three miles from the breathtaking North Norfolk coast.
The school was founded in 1555 by Sir John Gresham who forged close ties with The Worshipful Company of Fishmongers. On his death, he left the school in their care and strong links with them and the City of London remain to this day.
The school enjoys a generous campus with excellent facilities including a state-of-the-art music building (Britten) with its own recording studio, indoor and outdoor performance spaces including a theatre (Auden), multi-surface sports pitches, tennis courts, swimming pool, sports hall and shooting range. The Dyson Building opened at Gresham’s in September 2021. Sir James Dyson, a former pupil at the school, enabled the innovative new centre for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education.
The school has an impressive list of Old Greshamians including the composer Benjamin Britten, the poet WH Auden, Oscar winning actress Olivia Colman and international rugby players Tom and Ben Youngs, to name but a few.
