School Secretary - St Rita's Primary School, VICTORIA POINT

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

The focus of this position is to provide administrative support to senior leadership including managing enrolements, weekly school newsletter, first aid and public relations. See attached position description for more information.

St Ritas is a Catholic co-educational school for primary students from Prep to Year 6. Our school is located in the Redlands bayside suburb of Victoria Point in a pleasing physical environment of landscaped grounds and modern learning and teaching spaces. Position Tenure:   Fixed Term

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks - plus additional hours/weeks as negotiated

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):   Until 6/12/19

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   32.5 hours per week during school term time- required to work Monday to Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Level 4

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
