Hours: 5 days per week (8:30am – 5:00pm) but could consider fewer days for a suitable candidate

Lord Wandsworth College is recruiting for the post of School Staff Instructor. The post holder will support the Contingent Commander in preparing and implementing cadet training. The suitable candidate should be prepared to support and play a wider role within the outdoor adventure activities at the College.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for all unit stores, the preparation of equipment for periodic inspection, unit administration including the management of the Westminster database, liaison with sponsor units and training teams, support the planning and management of Field Days, camps and training exercises and be committed to weekly Friday afternoon parades. The successful candidate will ideally have:
ESSENTIAL:
Knowledge of the Cadet force and the desire to support and develop cadets and young people
Clean driving licence
IT literate to include MS Office programmes, internet and email
DESIRABLE:
D1 minibus entitlement
First Aid at Work
Weapons, Range or Adventurous training qualifications
Knowledge of the Cadet database ‘Westminster’
