Trinity High School & Sixth Form Centre is a warm, ambitious and values-driven community where strong relationships, high expectations and our HEART values underpin everything we do.

We are proud to be recruiting a Behavioural Pastoral Manager (Scale 6)—a pivotal role at the centre of our Behaviour & Attitudes strategy, responsible for leading the daily operation of whole-school behaviour systems. This is an opportunity to shape the consistency, clarity and impact of sanctions across the school, ensuring that expectations are understood, upheld and delivered with precision.

You will lead the implementation of key systems including detentions, isolation and suspensions, ensuring they are applied fairly, consistently and with absolute fidelity. Through strong organisation, high visibility and attention to detail, you will ensure that routines are seamless and that the school remains calm, orderly and purposeful throughout the day.

Working closely with senior leaders, Heads of Year and pastoral teams, you will coordinate responses, support staff, and ensure that behaviour systems operate with clarity and confidence. You will play a critical role in maintaining standards and reinforcing a culture where every student is able to learn and succeed.

This role requires a professional who is highly organised, resilient and calm under pressure, with the confidence to hold the line on expectations. You will be committed to fairness, consistency and high standards, and driven by a desire to make a tangible difference to the daily experience of students and staff.

To be considered, you will need:

  • Evidence of CPD relevant to behaviour management

  • Significant experience in a pastoral, behaviour or youth role

  • Experience of working with external agencies

  • Understanding of safeguarding indicators

What the school can offer:

  • A friendly, reflective and forward‑thinking school community with strong relationships at its core.

  • Clear pastoral and behaviour systems aligned with national expectations.

  • A committed and collaborative pastoral team supported by senior leaders.

  • High‑quality CPD, including behaviour leadership training and opportunities for progression.

Benefits of joining the school:

  • A calm, orderly school culture built on consistent expectations and routines.

  • The opportunity to shape and quality‑assure high‑impact behaviour systems.

  • Strong safeguarding and inclusion infrastructure to support decision‑making.

  • A supportive senior leadership team and opportunities for career development.
