Dedworth Middle School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and optimistic candidate to join our committed Science and Design Technology departments.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a school environment.  The position would suit someone who is able to work well under pressure whilst prioritising and working productively and efficiently.  The successful candidate must have a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.

The successful candidate will:

  • Assist in ensuring a safe, effective and efficient technical service is provided to support the Science and Design Technology departments
  • Be responsible for the department’s inventory, equipment and prep rooms
  • Provide technical advice and assistance in the classroom to support students and assist teaching staff with learning activities
  • Ensure that Health & Safety requirements and other relevant regulations are adhered to including the completion and recording of necessary checks
  • Prepare classrooms for lessons, practical activities and demonstrations
  • Prepare equipment, materials, chemicals and resources as required for use in lessons

About Dedworth Middle School

Dedworth Middle School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 9-13 Middle School, situated in Windsor, Berkshire. The school, which converted to an academy in 2016, is part of the Windsor Learning Partnership which consists of Dedworth Middle School, Dedworth Green First School, Windsor Girls' School and The Windsor Boys' School. The school currently has 500 students on role and is part of an expansion process which will take it to 720 students. It takes in pupils in Year 5, and pupils leave after Year 8.
