The North Midlands Science Learning Partnership (SLP) based in the City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College is part of the national network supporting the work of STEM Learning, ensuring teachers have access to a suite of relevant, inspiring and effective CPD opportunities, covering practical and theoretical aspects of teaching.

We are seeking to recruit an Assistant SLP Lead who will work within the SLP and Computing Hub team of 2 administration and 4 curriculum experts. Our region includes Stoke-on-Trent, Telford & Wrekin, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Responsibilities will include leading Science CPD, developing and promoting CPD programmes, developing and supporting teacher networks, representing the SLP at events such as head teacher meetings, using needs analysis and data to inform planning and reporting and maintaining and developing external stakeholder relationships.

Full UK driving licence and use of a car required.
