Applications are invited for a part time Science Teacher at an Independent Christian school, located on Sydney’s North Shore. The school caters for Kindergarten to Year 12. It ranks among NSW’s leading schools in HSC achievement, while also delivering world-class learning initiatives such as the IB Primary Years Program and Cambridge Courses in Years 9-10.
About the Role:
- Be experienced in teaching Stages 4 and 5 Science and Stage 6 Biology (additional ability to teach Stage 6 Chemistry and/or Physics would also be an advantage)
- Part time 0.5-0.6FTE
- Commencing January 2023
- Permanent
Selection Criteria:
- Hold an Education Teaching Degree recognised in Australia
- Be registered or have the ability to be registered with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Ability to provide current and teaching related references from Middle Management/Executive Leadership level (please note referees will not be contacted until you have given permission and all applications are treated confidential)
- Have the right to work in Australia
