You will join a well-qualified, dynamic and forward thinking Science team of nine specialist teachers and 2 technicians. Science GCSE results have risen steadily in recent years. We also run very popular GCE A Level biology, chemistry and physics courses at Key Stage 5 and have just gained our best ever A Level results. Many students go on to gain places to study science subjects, including medicine, engineering and pharmacy at top universities. The seven specialist science laboratories and preparation room have all been recently refurbished and the department is very well resourced. 

Whitefield is a rapidly improving school. Our examination results continue to rise year on year. But we still have ambitious plans for the future.  The successful candidate will have access to Continuous Professional Development through our comprehensive internal and external CPD programme.
