We have just completed an extensive review of our school’s vision and curricula.  We look to ensure our students are prepared for the ever-changing world of the future. The implemented curriculum is broad and balanced drawing on the best academic practices from across the world. The English National Curriculum combined with the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) ensures that our students have creative and challenging learning experiences that will prepare them for University Levels and beyond. The school has been accredited by Qatar National Schools Accreditation (QNSA) and is a member of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME).

About the role

We will look to you to promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school’s curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved. You will challenge yourself and challenge your students to set ambitious targets for themselves as well as seek out and implement innovative teaching practices to enhance the student experience and outcomes. You will foster an environment of respect and hard work within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion.

About you

Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will bring a degree and a recognised teaching qualification. It would be preferred if you can offer two sciences up to IGCSE. Both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative practice to raise achievement.

You will embrace the role of Form Tutor and deliver personalised and dedicated care to your tutees. Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions.

Our curriculum model and international accreditations

A Nord Anglia Education school since 2012, NAISAK prides itself on being a British curriculum school with a global outlook. Our 3-18 education begins with the English EYFS Framework. We then deliver a bespoke Primary curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England but tailored to meet the needs of our local and international students. Secondary students study for iGSCEs, AS and A levels, providing the best possible preparation for university entrance. NAISAK holds Qatar National Schools Accreditation (QNSA) as well as British Schools Overseas (BSO) status.
