We are seeking to appoint an individual who loves to teach and loves to learn and who has a passion for all aspects of Science.  This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a popular department in one of the oldest Catholic schools in England and is an excellent foundation for further career progression. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Science, to teach across the key stages including an ability to teach either Physics, Chemistry or Biology at KS5 to support our existing specialists. For an outstanding candidate there is the opportunity to become a Lead Practioner in Science.

The successful applicant will be passionate about Science, well organised, and willing to go the “extra mile” to ensure pupils achieve. We are looking for applicants who are highly motivated and ready to contribute to helping the College as we build on our 2016 Good OFSTED rating.

  • Be a passionate advocate of the subject who      contributes effectively to departmental and whole school improvement. 
  • Be highly motivated and demonstrate the      highest professional standards
  • Be willing to teach across the full age and      ability range at age 11-18, including A-level.

  • Be a good communicator with excellent      interpersonal skills 
  • Be flexible and a good team player
