Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Science Teacher to join a Special Educational Needs school located in Kings Norton. You will have the responsibility of delivering a high-quality learning programme to a variety of students with SEMH needs. You will be in charge of students with various learning difficulties, on a full time long term basis. This is a highly supportive school that ensures a happy and enjoyable learning environment is maintained throughout the academic year. 


The ideal candidate will have experience within an SEN environment, with a strong behaviour management. You will be expected to have a consistently positive attitude in sometimes challenging environments. You must be able to employ a variety of teaching strategies to ensure that all students achieve their full potential. 


The Ideal candidate – 

• Will have QTS

• Highly creative in a classroom setting 

• Knowledge within the education sector 

• Passion for supporting the learning of children 

• In date DBS & on the Update Service 


Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
