About the role
This is an exciting period to join The Buckingham School; we have just completed 2.5 million pounds of renovation work within the school, with more remodelling and renovation of the school premises planned in the near future. As part of this renovation, we have installed four new state-of-the-art science laboratories, taking the total we have to nine.
We have seen steady improvement in all areas of the school over the past three years and we will continue in our quest to become the community school of choice within the locality. We are ambitious, oversubscribed and our students are fantastic to work with.
Applications are welcome from ECTs as well as experienced teachers. We have a proven track record of support and development and an excellent ECT package is available.

About you
Whilst having a real passion for teaching and learning, we are looking for an innovative and committed classroom practitioner who can teach exceptional Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 with the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse all learners. The opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 classes will be available to suitably experienced practitioners.
We are looking for the right candidate to help raise standards of student attainment and achievement, monitor, support student progress, and hold high expectations of themselves, the team and their students. Working alongside our Curriculum Leader the ideal candidate will have the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners and to work productively as part of a highly committed and innovative team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- teach in a strong, dynamic team of teachers
