A £1,000 bursary is available to candidates who apply directly to the academy
This is an exciting opportunity to join the first All Ability Academy in Bucks. Currently there are approximately 880 pupils, including a vibrant Sixth Form, and the academy’s popularity means that the number is increasing each year. This post offers the chance to become involved in a culturally diverse and forward-thinking school, rated Good by Ofsted in 2016.
We are seeking a qualified teacher or NQT to join our successful Science department to teach KS3 and KS4, with an opportunity to teach A Level for a suitably qualified candidate.
You will join a leading department that produces exceptional outcomes in a heavily oversubscribed academy. The department is staffed with experienced teachers with a commitment to continuous school improvement and has a suite of dedicated Science laboratories.
Applications are welcomed from qualified teachers and NQTs. Highcrest offers an excellent, paid induction programme and continuing support for NQTs, as well as CPD for more experienced teachers.
For the right candidate, we could offer a Second in Department position which attracts a TLR2a payment.
Please visit www.highcrest.bucks.sch.uk for further information about this role and an application form which must be completed to apply. This can be posted or emailed to the school office FAO Louise Newsholme. Please do not send CVs only.
Please apply immediately for an early interview. We reserve the right to close the advert early.
The Highcrest Academy is fully committed to safeguarding children (policies on web). All members of staff are in a “regulated” role under the Vetting & Barring Scheme and have to be DBS cleared prior to employment.
