Do you have a real passion for teaching Science?

From September 2019 we are looking to appoint an outstanding Science teacher who is determined to make a difference and has a proven track record of success.   We want to recruit the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or outstanding lessons and additional remuneration is available for an exceptional candidate.

Science is taught from KS3 to KS5 with the individual specialisms being offered at KS4 and KS5 and, ideally, we are looking for someone who can teach at least one specialism to KS5.  The successful candidate will be forward thinking, capable of inspiring students through their passion for science, have a firm belief in the potential of all students and encourage all to ‘Aspire to Achieve’.   The Faculty is led by an experienced leader who is well supported by a skilled, enthusiastic and talented team of dedicated science teachers and technicians.  Science is fully equipped and classrooms have interactive whiteboards and generous curriculum resources.

Applications are welcome from NQTs, from more experienced colleagues who are looking for a change or even for someone considering returning to teaching where you will be fully supported back into the classroom.  We offer excellent NQT support including a bespoke programme of training and mentors and there are excellent opportunities for professional development.
