More about the role

Begdale House is an independent special school in who are focused on providing a safe learning environment that benefits all learners with the skills for their future. We work with 10 to 16 year olds with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs to offer them a safe and tailored learning environment.

As a Science Teacher within our school, you will be providing professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes across Key Stage 2, 3 and 4.

You will be playing your part in helping the school achieve its aims and values. You will be delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from the leadership team.

What do you need?

We are looking for a qualified Teacher who has at least 2 years’ experience teaching young people with SEMH and is experienced in teaching GCSE Science to a range of learners. This position is open to a specialist in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
