The key skills we are looking for:

• Solid knowledge of the British Curriculum with appropriate British experience and qualifications.

• To be able to work effectively as part of a team in order to produce a rounded and exciting Science curriculum.

• Provide feedback and communicate effectively with parents and pupils.

The secondary curriculum is based on the National Curriculum in KS3 and Cambridge iGCSE and A level programmes in KS4 and KS5. We will prepare pupils for external examinations allowing access to universities in Spain, the UK and other countries.

We currently have pupils up to Year 9 and next year we will start our first Year 10 iGCSE course. We are committed to providing students with an increasingly practical experience of the sciences and will be building a brand new science laboratory for 2025 and want the new science teacher to take a lead in helping to build a state of the art department and providing an outstanding provision.

We are proud to offer our pupils a wide variety of opportunities as part of their school curriculum. These experiences support both their emotional and academic growth. Children develop their individual skills and qualities in a caring environment where they are encouraged to flourish through personal reflection, challenge and support. We help, guide and encourage our pupils to develop confidence and self-discipline. The role of the teacher in our school is therefore much more than just teaching a subject, it involves enthusing, inspiring and caring for each child.
