Science Teacher (High School)

Kesser Torah College is an Orthodox Jewish Day School offering a diverse academic programme which strives for excellence in both General Studies and Jewish Studies.  With over 300 students and 90 staff, we are committed to an education that is nurturing, differentiated and rigorous.

Applications are invited from a passionate, motivated and experienced Science Teacher for part time (0.6) work in 2019.  Ideally, the candidate will have experience and specialisation in teaching Physics & Chemistry.  The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom teacher, a collaborative practitioner and ready to contribute to the Science department.

He/She will have a deep knowledge and understanding of their subject with demonstrated success in teaching all levels of Years 7 to 12 classrooms.

The successful applicant will be able to inspire students to learn by differentiating the curriculum, using classroom strategies which encourage students to be independent and confident learners.
