We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about teaching science. We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic individual who is able to inspire and excite our students about this important core subject. At Evelyn Grace Academy all of the Sciences are popular options at KS5. You will be a skilled practitioner with a track record of securing high levels of attainment for students across the ability range through consistently outstanding teaching and learning.

The successful applicant joining this high achieving department will be a strong team player committed to the Academy’s ethos of high academic expectation and aspiration for all. You will be ready to provide stimulating learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom which serve to inspire our students. Ark Evelyn Grace Academy is an 11-16 mixed secondary school, located at the heart of the London Borough of Lambeth. We are a community school and part of the Ark Network. Our mission statement is to empower our students to be the voice of their future. This is based on the belief that each young person is different, difference should be embraced, and each young person has a unique contribution to make and should be given a voice. Through finding their voice, young people can lead empowered lives where they have choice, agency and influence. We are focused on the future as we want our young people to be the face of it.

School Structure

The school has a small leadership team that comprises of the Principal, two Vice Principals and two Assistant Principals. Each subject area is lead by a Head of Department and year groups are led by a Director of Learning (Head of Year).
