Smart Teachers is pleased to represent an ‘Outstanding’ special school looking to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher / Maths Teacher to join their ambitious setting based in Ealing. The school caters students aged between 5 and 18 years who have a range of needs including emotional, social, behavioural, and communication difficulties. This position is available from September 2017, and the successful candidate will be on a long-term contract to start with and possibly offered a permanent contract.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education/ PGCE, or an equivalent teaching degree
  • Have proven UK teaching experience: minimum one term
  • Have experience teaching students with special needs, particularly with Social Emotional Mental Health
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
