Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher to work in a Secondary school in North Somerset. This is a full-time, long term teaching role starting in September 2019.

The role

The desired Science Teacher will be working with pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in Science up to Key Stage 4 and an ability to contribute to the further development of a strong and forward-looking team.

This is a good school which has high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. It is led by an experienced Senior team and provides centralised services and support to enable staff to focus on teaching. The School offers excellent CPD and provides a range of opportunities for progression within the role and the School.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Science Teacher, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Or have recent experience of teaching 11-18 year olds.
  • Have experience teaching Science at Key Stage 4.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
