Science Teacher

This very successful, dynamic and forward-looking department is looking to recruit a new member. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified and experienced Science teacher who has who has already demonstrated the ability to enable his/her students to excel and reach their full potential. 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher. Applications are invited from teachers with the ability to teach any of the three main specialisms, though Physics or Chemistry are preferred. We welcome applications from NQTs.

The school achieved its best ever set of results for the second successive year and this year we are the most successful comprehensive school in the authority. Following our inspection November 2016 the HMI described Poole High School as a good school that is ‘rapidly improving’.

Poole High School is an oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school serving families throughout the historic town of Poole. As one of the largest schools in this selective catchment, we pride ourselves on the fact that all students thrive in this caring and collaborative team.
