Job overview

Required for September 2017 or earlier, a Science teacher, preferably a Physics or Chemistry specialist, who is able to teach Science across the ability range from KS3 to KS4, with KS5 available for suitable candidates. The Science department is an established and dynamic team with a track record of success particularly in 2016. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing a love of Science within our students and have an understanding of the needs of ethnic minority students.

In Key Stage 4 students are entered for either GCSE Triple Science or Combined Science.

In Key Stage 5, we offer A Level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and BTEC Applied Science. KS5 experience is desirable but we are willing to professionally develop the right candidate at KS5.

 

Paget is a multi-ethnic, 11-18 school with excellent transport links. We offer a positive learning ethos and a supportive staff induction programme.

Paget High School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire and there are 700 pupils on its roll.
