Job overview
We are looking for outstanding Scientists to work in our Science department, teaching up to KS5, full and part-time hours will be considered. Applications from Biologists would also be considered. Permanent or temporary contract available.
A TLR may be available for a suitably qualified candidate.
The department is accommodated in a purpose-built suite and is staffed by an enthusiastic group of scientists and technicians. The Science Department results are very good with 96% achieving C or higher in Additional science at GCSE and 78% achieving A – A* in Further Additional science. A Level results are also good with all three sciences being popular.
St Peter’s is an extremely successful School set in attractive grounds on the outskirts of Guildford. Standards overall are high and improving with 84% of students gaining 5+ A* – C grades at GCSE including English and Maths in 2016. Facilities and resources are very good and relationships between students and staff are excellent.
